I , Nobody - Fabulous genre blending but flawed equally

The film stars Prithviraj , Parvathy Thiruvothu , Hakim Shah , Ashokan and more. It is directed by Nisam Basheer. Prithviraj is brilliant as Rajeevan. Parvathy Thiruvothu is good as Meera ( Rajeevan's wife ) but her expressions seem repetitive especially during the latter half of the film. Hakim Shah is menacing as Anas. Ashokan is great as Jacob. The story follows a government employee named Rajeevan who gets entangled in a bank heist which starts off a chain of events that would upturn his life. Nisam Basheer starts off the film in a way that you'll feel confused and be like what is this ? , but as the film progresses it gives you answers and keeps you hooked because the writing is very tight in the first half of the film. The second half starts off great but after the film comes at the resolving the conflict point , it becomes tiresome and then has some fight sequences just for the sake of it which leads to a disconnect with Rajeevan's character and then it shifts to a unnessecary political angle during the climax which makes it feel like the director just wants to end the film quickly. Music by Jakes Bejoy suits the mood of the film and aids in engaging the audience. The cinematography by Dinesh Purushothaman features visuals built heavily on atmosphere and striking compositions. Overall - A film that had so much potential but overall it dissapoints
