Pushpa 2 : The Rule - Not wildfire, but fire extinguisher

The film stars Allu Arjun, Rashmika Mandanna, Fahadh Faasil, Jagadeesh Prathap and etc. The film is directed by Sukumar. First and foremost i need to address how disappointed I am with this film, the amount of hype I got during the first part's climax was immense and the reason I got so hyped for the 2nd part is Fahadh's character. He looked like a ruthless cop that will make Pushpa fall at his knees , the climax of the first part was very well written, the way the ego clash was written and the Brand dialogue was classy and massy. In the 2nd part you would literally feel like you are watching Indian 2 on steroids, because the way Fahadh Faasil's character became so comical and every single clash between him and Pushpa are capturing him like he is a weak fellow who is just in the film for namesake. But the only good scenes were probably the interval and the Jathara sequence, the Jathara sequence was visually very appealing and Allu Arjun's acting was Kantara level. The interval got me hyped for the 2nd half but the 2nd half's screenplay was very disengaging and the climax was so not fitting in the story even though there is no story in the film itself. Rashmika is there for namesake I felt. Sreeleela's dance in Kissik was energetic and flawless. The BGM is ok ok but the songs are horrible. What was funny in this film was the way the characters sing the song before the song starts itself. Overall- Not fire, not wildfire, but flower.
