The film stars Anthony Varghese , Mo Ismail , Lijomol Jose , Vijayaraghavan and more. It is directed by debutant Govind Vishnu. Daveed is the type of film that isn't about boxing specifically though the idea is to be a boxing film it also stands out as a emotionally impactful movie because of the way the director shows the father and daughter's bonding and how their family is financially unstable. The director has weaved the emotions in a beautiful and simple manner which is truly the beauty of this film. The plot is simple, Ashiq Abu a man that has a past in a street fighting club but due to his ego decides to leave and become a family man. After he becomes a family man he is financially unstable but he gets a small time job as a bouncer he has an ego clash with a boxer causing him humiliation but decides to strike back for his family through a Mike Tyson vs Jake Paul kind of fight. Though the plot sounds long the film is very fast paced and dosen't overexaggerate emotions. Music by Justin Varghese is fantastic. Action choreography by PC stunts is very accurate and carefully handled. The actors have done a brilliant job, specifically the villian who i thought is an actual boxer turned out to be an actor and the way he has performed during the boxing sequences is flawless. Anthony Varghese is also a fantastic performer and has a amazing screen presence. Overall - A impactful watch
