Hridayapoorvam - A soulful and beautifully taken film.

The film stars Mohanlal , Malavika Mohanan , Sangeeth Pratap , Sangita Madhavan Nair and more. It is directed by Sathyan Anthikad. The whole cast has done a great job but Malavika Mohanan as Haritha truly stood out due to her matured perfomance and wonderfully written character. Sangeeth Pratap and Mohanlal's combination scenes were humorous and joyful to watch. The plot follows Sandeep Balakrishnan ( Mohanlal) a heart transplant survivor attends his donor's daughter Haritha's engagement in Pune but , the stay makes him get more attached to the family and the events that follow this is Hridayapoorvam. Music by Justin Prabhakaran is heartwarming especially the song "Venmathi" sung by Sid Sriram. The main reason the film works is due to how well emotions and humor are weaved into the screenplay. Cinematography by Anu Moothedath is fresh and captures Pune's beauty and nature very well. Overall- A fresh breeze of air.
