Kalki 2898 AD - Visually strong but fails to give Impact due to the weakly written dialogues.

The film stars Prabhas , Deepika Padukone, Amitabh Bachachan , Kamal Hassan and more. The VFX department have done an commendable job . The biggest flaw of this movie would be the first half. Due to the weakly written dialogues and a romantic track which features Disha Patani and Prabhas. Their chemistry Is very awkward and looks like a father and daughter bond. Prabhas doesn't really Impress with his fun character In the first half I felt. But the fun starts when the movie realizes It's true potential and things start getting serious. And Amitabh Bachachan has done such a powerful perfomance and the stunts he does at 80 years old Is commendable. Deepika Impresses with her role as SUM-80 also called as Sumathi when Anna Ben comes In. Her background score needed so much Improvisation. The film also tries a lot to prove that this Is a 600 cr budget film with the crazy amount of cameos It has got. The world building takes lot of time In the first half. The second half emerges as a hero with It's fight sequences and climax. The romantic song In the first half was absolutely garbage but otherwise bgm wise Santosh Narayanan has done a good job especially with the madhava song In the mahabharat sequences It takes It on another level. Overall - Kalki has It's flaws but truely showcases It's talent In the second half.
