Indian 2 - Disappointment is the only word to describe this hopeless social thriller.

The fim is highly anticipated as it is a sequel to the most loved social drama of 1996. The film stars Kamal Hassan, Siddharth, Priya Bhavani Shankar, Rakul Preet Singh and more. I loved the first part of indian and that's the reason i went to this film. After watching the trailer my expectations were zero and that's the mindset i went with while going inside the theatre. After i was done with the first half my brain was already dead and put behind my seat. When the second half started i kept looking at my watch to see when the film was going to end. The film's tagline is zero tolerance but in reality while watching this you need a lot of tolerance. The acting by Kamal Hassan is good but not upto the mark. The makeup department deserves a big round of applause. Siddharth's acting is pure rubbish especially in the emotional sequences. The side actors that come with him have done a way better job. At this point Rakul Preet Singh just has to leave cinema like her movie selections are really dull and sad. The film's dark humour is quite impressive. The bgm by Anirudh is tasteless. The animation scenes with Indian thatha was just too bad to handle. Overall - Not a Shankar film...
