Lokah Chapter 1: Chandra - A perfectly executed tale of a superhero that showcases Kerala folklore powerfully.

The film stars Kalyani Priyadarshan , Naslen , Chandu Salim Kumar , Sandy. It is directed by Dominic Arun. Kalyani Priyadarshan is Chandra who arrives in Bengaluru and her apartment is opposite to three jobless youngsters. Sunny ( Naslen), Venu ( Chandu Salim Kumar) and Arun Kurian ( Naijil). Chandra is an mysterious character and we get a glimpse of her during a slickly shot fight scene. Though Sunny has an interest for Chandra he gets suspicious as time goes by and decides to follow her. That's when we discover Chandra. Dominic Arun showcases his writing skills in a brilliantly crafted flashback scene that gives goosebumps. The interval portion is captivating. The second half of the film features some surprising cameos to build the cinematic universe. Jakes Bejoy's Music is fabulous. A big hatsoff to Wayfarer films for backing such an ambitious project. The visuals are striking thanks to Nimish Ravi's cinematography. Jithu Sebastian's art direction look is nothing short of world-class. Overall- A full-fledged cinematic experience.
