Maharaja is written and directed by Nithilan Swaminathan. The film stars Vijay Sethupathi , Anurag Kashyap , Mamta Mohandas, Abhirami , Divya Bharathi , SIngam Puli and Sachana Namidass. First of all i have to give an applause to Nithilan Swaminathan, he adds such meaningful nuances to each scene. VJS and Anurag have done a fantastic job. Sachana Namidass comes as VJS's daughter and she has also done a commendable job. Mamta Mohandas , Abhirami and Divya Bharathi don't really get noticed and their characters could have been utilized for something intense i felt. If you watch a lot of movies you can figure out the twist in the end. I love the way non-linear has been taken into notice in this film kudos to the director for that. Music by Ajaneesh Lokanath is apt. Overall - A disturbing revenge drama with a non-linear twist.
