Ponman - A straight forward film which is powerfully made.

The film stars Basil Joseph , Sajin Gopu , Lijomol Jose , Deepak Parambol and more. It is directed by Jothish Shankar.

First and foremost a big salute to the beautifully weaved screenplay done by G.R Indugopan and Justin Mathew, each scene has a beautiful essence to it and a satisfying conclusion to end the film off. Basil Joseph is flawless, his role as PP Ajesh has a powerful arc packed with a towering presence. Sajin Gopu is ruthless as Mariyano, his role makes us want to kill him. Lijomol Jose has superbly done her role as Steffi Graff. Deepak Parambol is very nice and has a pleasant face, and his acting as Markendaya Sharma is versatile. And the true victory of this film is though we feel like killing few characters, in the end we get to realize each of their mistakes are done due to their fate and that emotional depth is definitely the success of Ponman.

Overall - A film that is non preachy but impactful.
