Thudarum - A film tailored for Mohanlal.

The film stars Mohanlal , Prakash Varma , Shobana, Binu Pappu , Thomas Mathew and more. It is directed by Tharun Moorthy. Mohanlal is not compromising on his acting even for a second in this movie. But Mohanlal's rule on the screen lasts for 40 mins and after that Prakash Varma as George enters into the screen and as a debutant he has absolutely killed it his menacing laugh and his sarcasm i can definitely say that he overshadowed Mohanlal. Shobana has done a good job. Thomas Mathew has done his role neatly. Though there are so many positives in this movie there are some minor flaws in the second half mostly because of the drag the film loses the pace that it built in the first half. The film is very fun for the first 40 mins and after that 20 mins before the interval the film has a genre shift which is appealing and unexpected. The story is mostly about revenge and what extremes a father could go to avenge the death of his son. Music by Jakes Bejoy is traditional and soothing. Visuals are beautiful and simple. Overall - A engaging and a seat edge thriller
