Veera Dheera Sooran 2 - A thrilling and uncomfortable watch.

The film stars Vikram , SJ Suryah , Suraj Venjaramoodu , Dushara Vijayan and more. It is directed by S.U Arun Kumar. After a long time I'm finally seeing a Vikram without any prosthetics in a full-fledged action film anchoring a massy and classy role. The director has done a superb job in making an action thriller which is intriguing but lacks suprises and contains some tasteless romance sequences. What I meant in the headline " an uncomfortable watch" means that the film has some intense sequences containing placing some sort of dangerous and unknown thing called "yams". And the director has done a fantastic job in making us feel very uncomfortable during that scene.

The film is fully set in the night and the cinematography by Theni Eashwar is one of the reasons that the film was very appealing and making us feel immersed into the world of Veera Dheera Sooran.

• Another reason why this film is quite memorable is because of the police station sequence I felt that it was definitely a memorable scene because it gave goosebumps especially Vikram's mannerism just took that scene to a different level.

  SJ Suryah's acting felt little more serious and subtle in this film but his dialogue delivery was still the same.

  
  

  Suraj Venjaramoodu and the actor who came as Periyavar was fabulous and both their roles were good.

  The flaws with this movie is Dushara Vijayan and the runtime, Dushara has done a irritating job and there could have been more scope for the heroine's role in this film.

  GV Prakash's music is brilliant and suiting the situation.

  Overall - A no nonsense action film which is technically and visually brilliant.
